What is Phoenix Moon? Phoenix Moon is a training coven founded Beltane 2001 in West Norfolk, England. Our mission is to provide an environment in which we can practice our Crafte, and educate those who wish to learn and develop as witches in an atmosphere of sanctuary and community. Phoenix Moon's High Priestess, Firebird, is a third degree Wiccan Initiate, although her path has evolved and embraces philosophies from many of the eastern and the western mystery traditions. She is a registered Minister, and Monsigneur of Pagan Education for the Church of the Seven Planes, UK. She is also a Reiki. Usui/Kundalini/Seichem Master/Teacher, and works with crystal and sound healing.
Phoenix Moon's Tradition
Phoenix Moon is an eclectic tradition. We incorporate aspects from many pagan traditions, from the religion of Wicca, to Druidry and Shamanism. In our classes we study and discuss aspects of eastern mysticism, including Tao, Zen, and the Quabala. The Toltec teachings enrich our enlightenment, and the Power of Now gives us new understanding of how to run our lives with the self knowledge, awareness and love that is necessary to live a magickal life. From the archetypes of Jung, to the ceremony of the magickal traditions we craft our ritual, inspired by the writings of Fortune, Gardiner, Valiente, Restall-Orr, Starhawk, Sanders and Saunders, Tolle, and Ruiz, to name a few. As we celebrate our Wheel of the Year, and the Wheel of our Lives, we blend our magick within with the world without. We are a circle of healers, both in the conventional and the alternative therapies. We are all of the above and more. We are witches!

Classes With Phoenix Moon
Beginners are welcomed into the Phoenix Moon classes. We ask that persons interested in knowing more about the classes answer the questions found on the class page, and forward them to Ladyphoenixuk@aol.com. Students must be a minimum of age 18, and we prefer that students aged 18-21 have finished education adn are living independently. Participation in our classes is a requirement for joining Phoenix Moon's coven, although we do not guarantee that each student completing the training will be initiated, either into the Craft, or into the coven.
Structure of the Classes
Training classes meet roughtly once every four weeks for three hours on Saturday afternoons in the first year, and fortnightly in the second. There is also a weekend retreat and workshop planned for the summer months. Classes are typically in two parts. The first will include theory/history/religiohn/spirituality/self empowerment and responsibility. The second part includes the practical side of sides. Topics range from History, Herbalism, Healing, Ethics, Uses, to Spellcrafting, Incense blending, Candle making, Pathworking, as well as Creating Sacred Space with the Circle, Meditation, Sabbats, to name a few. The aim of the training is two-fold; to introduce the beginner to the Craft, and begin the foundation of a solid training in Witchcraft, and Craft technique. At the same time, it is to encourage the trainee to develop him/herself to the highest potential, as a witch, and as a spiritually evolved, self empowered being.
